A Melbourne based Software Company which specialises in developing and delivering enterprise level software requires motivated and passionate hands-on Java software developers to join it’s development team.  

We have two positions available and are seeking enthusiastic candidates who love technology and are great team players.  The positions advertised are mainly ‘office based’ (4 days onsite in Forrest Hill, and 1 day ‘work from home’).

You may be an existing Senior Developer or a mid level Developer.  Salary will be negotiated based on experience and knowledge.

Required Experience:

• Strong problem solving skills and a great dose of enthusiasm
• Strong core Java abilities
• 3 years + experience in an Agile, full-stack software development role
• Love for programming and a desire to learn
• Good English language skills (spoken and written)

Nice to Have Experience:

• Experience with Jenkins or any other CI/CD tools and frameworks
• Experience with ansible or similar auto-deployment frameworks
• Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
• Experience with developing SAP CAP applications

Tasks

As part of the Customer Success Team, you will be part of the European Section with colleagues in Germany, Australia and the USA. The CST Team has three main Tasks: Customer Support, Consulting and Pre-Sales.

Your main Tasks will be:

• Support the Sales-Team by doing Pre-Sales Presentations
• Help our Customers by answering Support-Tickets
• Realize implementation projects together with the customer
• Consult Customers on SAP Change Control and Sap Life-Cycle Management

Profile

• Experienced SAP Consultants position aimed at individuals keen on developing a career as a Pre-Sales Engineer and a Functional Software Consultant.
• Completion of technical IT qualification or a degree in Information Systems/Computer Sciences or similar experience
• Minimum 2 years’ Experience in the SAP Area, either as Consultant, Basis-Administrator, Development-related or similar
• Good proficiency in English
• Fluent in any other EU Language
• Based in Europe (EU)
• Good communicator
• Comfortable working directly with customers
• Comfortable of giving presentations
• Familiar with SAP Change Control Processes
• Understand ABAP
• Understand needs of Dev-/Functional/Key User-Teams
• Understand Compliance
• Interest in working Vendor side in a company serving some of the largest SAP customers in the world.
• Interest in becoming a functional Software expert to assist in Presales and Consulting
• Like to travel
• International business hours will be required with APAC and US
• Good Internet-home Connection (100% Home office)

Advantageous:

• Experience with integrations
• Experience with SAP’s Solution Manager ChaRM
• Knowledge of DevOps & Agile
• Knowledge of ITIL
• Fluent German
• Understanding of cloud applications
